The Bronze Certification is a program for those who have minimal field experience as an Oilheat technician. The Bronze Level certification will give individuals recognition and further incentive to train.

The program is designed to teach individuals the fundamental skills of Oilheat. This class is the first step towards a career as an Oilheat Service Technician.

Criteria to Earn Bronze Certification

  2. Passing the Bronze Certification exam

In order to upgrade from Bronze to Silver Certification, technicians must complete 20 hours of continuing education (CEUs) and work in the field for three years. Once the CEUs and field work are completed, the technician may apply for an upgrade to Silver Certification.
