NORA Certified Technical Schools

To become a NORA Certified School and offer the Bronze Certification the school must have access to at least one residential sized live fired boiler or furnace the technicians can work on and do combustion testing on. This unit can also be used to heat the building it is in.  Click here for application.

The course must be at least 80 hours of combined classroom and lab. It must be based upon the NORA Oilheat Technician’s Manual and use the manual as its text book.

The school must submit its lesson plans to NORA for approval.

The Instructor shall be NORA Certified Silver or Gold and a NORA approved Proctor (they can be the instructor) must administer the test. The Instructor/Proctor shall maintain the integrity of the NORA Bronze Tests.
