NORA’s Liquid Heating Fuels Laboratory in Plainview, NY is a 3,500-sq-ft R&D and training facility that combines live-firing test bays for equipment evaluation and a chemistry lab which tests and evaluates liquid heating fuels, including renewable fuels, for use in the market.
Led by Dr. Thomas Butcher, the lab advances low-carbon liquid heating fuels, including higher-blend biodiesel and renewable diesel, while advancing high-efficiency, reliability, and safety in home heating.
