The program is designed for anyone who already has three or more years experience in the field as an Oilheat technician and and can show 100 hours of training.
Criteria to Earn Silver Certification
- Minimum of 3 years work experience as an Oilheat technician
- Minimum of 100 hours of Oilheat training
- Passing the Silver Certification exam
Silver certification will remain in effect for 5 years.
Twenty four NORA CEU’s must be earned during that period for renewal. The course, Bioheat® Technical Guidance (NOR-109-1) is required for renewal and is available in the online courses at Learning.NORAweb.org .
